What are front meters?
Front meters are the meters your stand occupies facing the visitor aisle. Therefore, what is calculated is the visible sales width of your stand, not the depth of the tables or the overall depth of your stand.
Minimum booth size 2 meters.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS:
1. Organizer and scope
These terms and conditions apply to all exhibitors, dealers and private vendors participating in the "Cards and Games" event.
The organizer is:
Lauber Live GmbH
Kronprinzenstraße 12
45128 Essen
CEO: Alexander Lauber
By registering, the exhibitor accepts these terms and conditions of participation as binding.
2. Eligibility and product range
Businesses and private individuals with a product range that fits the event concept are eligible to participate.
Eligible items include, in particular, trading cards, sports cards, retro games, consoles, video games, accessories, collectibles, anime/manga items, merchandise, specialist accessories and thematically appropriate collectibles.
The organizer is entitled to exclude goods or offers that do not fit the event concept or violate legal regulations, third-party rights, or these terms and conditions of participation.
3. Registration and conclusion of contract
Registration is binding. A right to participate only exists after acceptance of the registration by the organizer or through actual admission to the event.
The organizer will inform the exhibitor if participation is not possible, especially if the event is fully booked or the product range does not fit the event concept.
There is no entitlement to receive a separate confirmation of participation. If the registration has been accepted or the exhibitor has been admitted to the event, the exhibitor remains obligated to participate even if they have not received a separate confirmation.
4. Stand rental, frontage and payment
The stand rental fee depends on the booked stand size or the booked frontage meters.
Front meters refer to the visible sales width of the stand as seen from the customer aisle. The decisive factor is the front sales area, not the depth of the tables.
The stand rental is tax-exempt according to § 4 No. 12 sentence 1 letter a UStG.
Unless otherwise agreed, the stand rental fee is due no later than before the stand is set up or upon entering the hall. If an invoice is issued, the payment deadline stated on the invoice applies.
If an early bird rate is offered, it only applies if the stand rental fee is received in full by the organizer no later than 14 days before the event. If payment is received later, the regular price applies.
The stand rental fee includes chairs, subject to availability, and the ordered frontage of table surfaces. There is no entitlement to specific tables, specific table dimensions, or a specific placement.
5. Cancellation and no-show
A free cancellation of registration is only possible up to 6 weeks before the event date.
In the event of a later cancellation or no-show, the full stand rental fee remains due as liquidated damages. The exhibitor reserves the right to prove that the organizer incurred no damage or significantly less damage.
6. Stand location and allocation
The organizer will assign the booth locations. Exhibitors' requests can be considered, but do not guarantee a specific booth location.
The organizer is entitled to make a different seating arrangement for organizational, safety or event-related reasons.
The stall must be occupied by 10:30 a.m. at the latest. After that, the space may be reassigned without any entitlement to a refund of the stall rental fee.
7. Setup, opening hours and dismantling
Setup is possible from 9:00 am or 9:30 am until 11:00 am, unless different times are announced for individual events.
The event is generally open to visitors from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Dismantling before 4:00 PM is not permitted. Dismantling must be completed by 5:00 PM at the latest, unless otherwise announced.
Escape routes, emergency exits, fire protection equipment, passageways and escape routes must be kept clear at all times.
8. Obligations of the issuer
The exhibitor is responsible for his stand, his goods, his employees and his assistants.
The exhibitor and their assistants are responsible for ensuring the safety of their own stand. The stand must be set up and operated in such a way that no dangers arise for visitors, other exhibitors, staff, or hall fixtures.
Table surfaces must be covered. The stand must be left clean. Exhibitors are responsible for removing all trash, packaging, and unsold items. Otherwise, cleaning fees may be charged.
Cables must not be laid across visitor walkways. If cables are necessary, they must be properly secured. Power connections are only available if they have been registered in advance and confirmed by the organizer.
Playing music is not allowed.
9. Prohibited goods and legal obligations
The exhibitor undertakes to comply with all legal regulations.
In particular, it is prohibited to offer illegal goods, plagiarized goods, counterfeit goods, bootlegs, pirated copies, stolen goods, indexed, harmful to minors, glorifying violence or otherwise prohibited items.
The exhibitor assures that the goods offered by him do not infringe any trademark rights, copyrights, design rights or other rights of third parties.
The exhibitor is solely responsible for complying with youth protection regulations. Age-restricted items may only be offered and sold in accordance with legal requirements.
There is a legal obligation to display prices. Commercial vendors must also comply with their legal information, labeling, and vendor obligations, in particular proper company identification at their stand.
10. House rules and exclusion
The organizer exercises the right to control access to the premises during the event. Instructions from the organizer, venue staff, and security personnel must be followed.
Exhibitors who violate these terms and conditions of participation, legal regulations, or instructions from the organizer may be excluded from the event.
In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the stand rental fee. The organizer reserves the right to assert further claims.
11. Liability of the Issuer
The exhibitor is liable for all damages caused by him, his employees, his assistants, his goods, his stand construction or his stand operation.
This applies in particular to damage to the building, to fixed or movable hall equipment, to the organizer's facilities, to the stands of other exhibitors, as well as to visitors and other third parties.
12. Liability of the organizer
The organizer is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as in cases of injury to life, body or health.
In the case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, the organizer is only liable for the typical, foreseeable damage.
Furthermore, the organizer's liability is excluded.
The organizer does not provide security for individual stalls and is not liable for loss, theft or damage to goods, unless there is a mandatory legal basis for liability.
13. Cancellation, postponement or change of the event
The dates and locations mentioned are subject to change if necessary.
If the event cannot be held, or can only be held to a limited extent, for reasons beyond the organizer's control, in particular due to force majeure, official orders, security situations, venue closure, strikes, energy crises, pandemics, or similar circumstances, the organizer may cancel, postpone, or adjust the event's schedule. Cancellation is also possible in the event of a general economic imbalance.
Should an event be cancelled, the organizer will inform the registered exhibitors immediately. Stand rental fees already paid will be credited or refunded unless otherwise agreed.
Claims for damages due to cancellation, postponement or change of the event are excluded, unless there is a mandatory legal basis for liability.
14. Photo and video recordings
Photo and video recordings may be made at the event for documentation, press and advertising purposes.
The exhibitor agrees that photographs of their stand and merchandise may be published in connection with the event. If individual persons are clearly the focus of the photograph, such use will only occur in accordance with legal regulations.
15. Data protection
The personal data collected during registration will be processed for the purpose of processing the registration, conducting the event, communication with the exhibitor and billing.
Further information can be found in the organizer's privacy policy.
16. Minimum stand size
The minimum stand size is 2 meters in frontage.
17. Amendments and supplementary regulations
The organizer is entitled to make further organizational arrangements insofar as these are necessary for the safe and proper conduct of the event. This also applies to instructions given on the day of the event.
Changes are reserved, provided they are reasonable for the issuer.
18. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the organizer.
